MarTech | Data | App Analytics
About me
I am currently working as a Growth Marketer at a leading mobile development & consultancy agency in Bangkok, Thailand.
My work is converging between business analytics, strategy and MarTech consultancy.Â
I collaborate cross-functionally with mobile developers, QA, UX, UI, Project Managers, Product Managers and more to deliver the best-in-class quality products with strategic business growth recommendations backed with data.
As I say, it's a story ... so it's quite long, enjoy :)
Experiences
Started off my career as a strategic planner intern at a creative advertising agency called Ogilvy & Mather Advertising when I was a junior university student.
My assigned department then was in OgilvyOne Worldwide; the one-to-one communication and CRM department of Ogilvy.
I went back to the internship at Ogilvy again as a senior university student in the assigned department of Social@Ogilvy; a newly established department that responsible of social media management.
Throughout my internships, I had the opportunities to mainly performed competitor analysis, in-depth interviews, content/concept development.

I also landed my first ever job there; at Social@Ogilvy as a Community Executive.
I managed clients' social media platform whether it's Facebook Page, Instagram or Twitter.
The word 'manage' meant that
I came up with the content and/or concept idea; also the copywriting
planned the content calendar for each platform aligned with the brand direction
responded to all the messages through comments and direct messages
acted as a stylist for the social media content photoshoot (also for some client, my teammates and I were even a model or a hand talent for the shoot, how fun!)
developed the FAQ documents responding to the various interactions and situations on the social media
developed the term & conditions statement for social media campaigns
and else.
I learned a lot in this role whether it's a copywriting skills, social media management skills, customer management skills (in this terms; via social media)
And moreover; I looked up to and learned a lot by just observing and working with professional teammates and colleagues who delivered the second-to-non quality services and excellence client management skills.
To this day, I am still so proud that I got the chance to work with my talented teammates and be a part of my client's success and made them famous for 'the ideal admin of Facebook page'; check out the news here (it's in Thai language), the Facebook page.

After almost 3 years and 2 internships at Ogilvy, I decided to pursue a higher education.
During my master degree in Marketing, I enrolled for the internship at Unilever Thailand and was assigned to the department of Unilever Food Solutions (aka UFS).
I got to learn more in details about B2B marketing here at UFS; especially in food & beverage industry.
I had an opportunity to propose the strategic plan on how to achieve the website KPI; this given challenge was for the alignment with the direction of the global team.

Months away to finish my master degree, I got the opportunity to join Appsynth; a leading mobile development & consulting company, as a Growth Marketing Associate.
At Appsynth, I went through variety of stages during their evolution and transformation from being not only just a mobile development house but also to be a mobile consultancy service.
I worked with the UX researcher during the discovery phase: the very first phase of mobile app development; the user research to find the unsolved problems, unmet needs and to find product-market fit.
I also did competitive researches, market researches, industry researches and so on during the discovery phase as well.
After the research, I worked collaboratively with the UX designer on the lo-fi wireframe.

During the development phase prior to the implementation, I also played the role of Data Analyst; help planning and designing the analytics specification (taxonomy) for the features and/or the campaigns in order to properly measure the performance of the entity.
Yes, for the Data Analyst part, I had to learn the technical stuffs which are the new thing for me from scratch. And still keep learning, new things to discover everyday!
Working on the Data Analyst scope, I cross-functionally collaborate with the Mobile Devs, Project Manager, QA, UX designer, UI Designer and also Product Manager in order to succeed in delivering a quality data analytics spec for performance report and for future optimization and development.
After the feature/campaign was released, I analyze the data and form the performance report.

Also work closely with Product Manager on not only optimizing the existing features/campaigns, but also find the areas of business opportunities.

When it comes to the mobile app features or marketing activities that the clients have a desire to pursue; with my marketing background, I work collaboratively and closely with my Tech Lead to find the optimal solution tuning between technical constraint and marketing requirement.
I also help onboarding clients on MarTech tools that they (sometimes it's my team and I, who use those tools for the client, haha!)

Back to the Growth Marketing part, I also did some Life-cycle marketing as well; exercising on my marketing communications skill.

Coming from an advertising agency, I also had a chance to bring my creative-ish background spearheaded the idea development phase of the mobile seasonal campaign: Valentine's Day; it was a few the brainstorming sessions from the cross-functional teammates consisted of Mobile Devs, Designers, QA and Project Manager. It was challenging yet fun to do!

Miscellaneous
Go by the nickname 'Bie'; pronounced as 'B' just like the alphabet, and 'Bianca' for more westerner friendly. But you can call me whatever floats your boat ; )
Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand.
Love advertising, music, cats and obsessed with perfumes and candles.
When I was a kid, I loved watching TV commercial so much instead of watching the real show; that made me realize and decided to pursue advertising in my undergraduate degree.
People often say that I am actually funny and lively than I look. So don't make my look deceiving you! : )
